Producdt Description:

The ZCZHQ-II Flame Arrester is a specialized in-line safety device engineered to halt the propagation of fire within high-risk industrial piping systems. This robust Flame Arrester is built to withstand the intense mechanical and thermal stresses associated with deflagration events. Its heavy-duty construction is particularly well-suited for integration into vapor recovery units (VRU) and fuel gas lines, ensuring that safety is never compromised even in aggressive chemical environments.

Advanced Flame Elements & Quenching Technology

The core fire suppression capability of the ZCZHQ-II is driven by its high-precision internal components, designed to neutralize ignition sources instantly.

  • Precision Quenching Matrix: This Flame Arrester is equipped with high-performance flame elements available in corrugated ribbon or multilayer mesh configurations. These flame elements ensure rapid fire quenching by dissipating heat across a high-surface-area matrix.

  • Bi-Directional Safety: The ZCZHQ-II is engineered to quench flame fronts originating from either side of the pipe. This provides total flexibility for complex piping layouts in vapor recovery units and ensures a reliable bi-directional fire barrier.

Installation:

  1. Remove all flange cover and discard all packaging materials.
  2. Check the seat, the matching flange gasket on the seat surface. It must be clean, flat, scratch-free, corrosion-resistant, tool traces.
  3. Check the gasket to ensure that the material is suitable forapplication.
  4. Lubricate all studs and nuts with proper thread lubricant. If the fastener is a high temperature stainless steel material, a back-grabbing compound, such as molybdenum disulfide, is used.
  5. Inside gasket of bolt ring.
  6. Installing flange of Inline flame arrester shell to butt with flange of pipeline, attention should be paid to the position of lifting handle and top nut of In line flame arrester element to facilitate the removal of In line flame arrester elements in the future.

Zhenchao FAQ

Solving Pressure Drop Challenges in High-Flow Piping Systems

Q1: What is the primary function of the ZCZHQ-II in a piping system?

A1: The ZCZHQ-II acts as a fire barrier that quenches subsonic flames (deflagrations) traveling through the pipe, effectively isolating the ignition source from protected equipment.

Q2: Can the ZCZHQ-II handle bi-directional flame fronts?

A2: Yes. This model provides bi-directional protection, meaning it can quench a flame regardless of which side of the arrester the ignition originates from.

Q3: How often should the internal flame elements be cleaned?

A3: We recommend semi-annual inspections. The flame elements should be cleaned if there is a noticeable increase in pressure drop or visible debris accumulation within the matrix.

Q4: Is this flame arrester suitable for corrosive chemical vapors?

A4: Yes. For aggressive chemical applications, we recommend the 316L Stainless Steel housing and elements for superior corrosion resistance and longevity.

Q5: What international standards does the ZCZHQ-II comply with?

A5: Our units are manufactured to meet global safety requirements and feature flange connections compatible with ANSI, DIN, JIS, and GB standards.
