A1:It utilizes internal vapor heat transfer or an external heating jacket to keep the breather valve components above the freezing point, ensuring the pallet never “sticks” to the seat.

A2:Yes. For media that crystallize at ambient temperatures, we recommend our crystallization breather valve with a steam jacket to keep the product in a gaseous or liquid state.
Q3:What materials are used for low-temp service?
A3:We use specialized low-temperature carbon steel or 316L stainless steel combined with cryo-grade PTFE seals to ensure the breather valve remains ductile and functional at -60°C.
Q4:Is electric heat tracing an option?
A4: Absolutely. We can equip the Prevent Freeze & Crystallization Breather Valve with explosion-proof electric heat tracing for facilities where steam or thermal oil is unavailable.
Q5:Does it require special installation?
A5:While installation is similar to standard valves, ensure the heating medium (if applicable) is correctly connected to the jacket to maintain its anti-freeze properties.
